Today I want to give a shout out to someone that’s fairly new at modding. We all start somewhere, for Jonathan it’s with die-cast models. Doing simple things like changing out the wheels and lowering. Here at 12-twentyfour we like to encourage many types of building or modding. Be it plastic or die-cast, big or small, it’s all in good fun.
“I’m 15 and I live in the U.S. My name is Jonathan. I started with collecting Hot Wheels. I then progressed to 1/24 scale, then to 1/18 scale after my mom got me a VW Golf GTi and a BMW Z4 from Europe. They both sat under my bed for 2 years until I finally decided to put wheels on my GTi and lowered it. After modding my gti I grabbed the z4 and started to work on it as well. I put simple wheels and I painted it orange. I based it off of a bagged Z4 that I had seen on Instagram. After that I started buying more cars and now my skills have been getting better.
“This Mercedes started out as a car I was just going to put on my shelf, but I could not just look at it just siting on the shelf. So I carefully took it apart, found a pair of bbs that were laying around. Figured out how to mount them on the car. The first picture was on Christmas Eve and it was only the first stage for this car”
“My Mercedes is on its third pair of wheel it wi soon have a pair of rotiform custom made for the car”
Well we hope that Jonathan keeps up the good work and for one day see a fully modded build from him.
Thank you for stopping by.
